Armadi Tsayn (Արմատի Ձայն), which means “Voices of the Roots” in Armenian, is a contemporary folk ensemble from Boston, MA. The band was co-founded by Sam Sjostedt and our very own Alek Surenian when they were both members of the Armenian Youth Federation. The group blends traditional Armenian melodies with modern influences and has played in major cities including Boston, Worcester, New York City, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Toronto and Yerevan, Armenia.
They will be performing for the first time in the greater Chicago area to celebrate the 107th anniversary of the founding of the First Republic of Armenia!

Tickets are:
$50 in advance or $60 at the door.
21 and under are $35 in advance or $40 at the door.
